Internet Explorer: "the requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context"

 

Mesej ini dipaparkan apabila pengguna menaip alamat URL ketika melayari Internet menggunakan browser Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) dalam persekitaran Windows XP SP2.

Masalah ini berlaku selepas instalasi/upgrade ke IE7. Untuk mengatasinya, sila cuba langkah berikut:

1. Klik Start > Run
2. Taipkan %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe untuk uninstall IE7
3. Klik OK
4. Restart PC

 

Tidak Boleh Akses Internet Menggunakan Internet Explorer

Pernahkah anda mengalami masalah kegagalan akses ke laman web menggunakan IE tetapi sebaliknya apabila menggunakan Mozilla Firefox (dalam normal mode). Namun begitu, IE berfungsi dengan baik dalam safe mode.

Beberapa metod digunakan seperti msconfig, task manager, virus scanning sama ada menggunakan Avira, Smadav, Kaspersky, Malwarebytes dan HijackThis tetapi masih tiada penyelesaian. Cuba lihat target seperti gambarajah di bawah:

Windows Vista: Masalah Network Connection

Situasi masalah yang berlaku ialah:

• PC menerima IP (DHCP)
• Tidak boleh 'PING' ke gateway dan DNS.

Antara langkah yang boleh dicuba untuk mengatasinya ialah:

A

1. Perhatikan Physical Address dalam konfigurasi IP (ipconfig). Jika address yang dipaparkan ialah 00:00:00:00:00:00, sila ubah address tersebut.
2. Address tersebut boleh diubah melalui Device Manager > Network Adapters > Properties > Advance > Network Address.
3. Masuk apa-apa MAC Address seperti 0008c71b8c02.
4. Laksanakan pengujian.

Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers:

To resolve this issue, disable the DHCP BROADCAST flag in Windows Vista. To do this, follow these steps:


1.       Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click regedit in the Programs list.
2.       If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.
3.       Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
4.       HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\ {GUID}
5.      In this registry path, click the (GUID) subkey that corresponds to the network adapter that is connected to the network.
6.       On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) Value.
7.       In the New Value #1 box, type DhcpConnEnableBcastFlagToggle, and then press ENTER.
8.       Right-click DhcpConnEnableBcastFlagToggle, and then click Modify.
9.       In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
10.   Close Registry Editor.

By setting this registry key to 1, Windows Vista will first try to obtain an IP address by using the BROADCAST flag in DHCP Discover packets. If that fails, it will try to obtain an IP address without using the BROADCAST flag in DHCP Discover packets.

Masalah capaian eSPKB

Masalah Certificate Ketika Akses Aplikasi COTDS

Masalah ini berlaku kepada pengguna IE7 dan IE8 di mana URL bar bertukar menjadi warna merah seperti gambar di bawah:

Kaedah yang boleh digunakan untuk mengatasinya ialah dengan melakukan proses reset pada setting IE. Kemudian unchecked pada "Warn about certificate address mismatch*". Masukkan laman web COTDS dalam trusted sites.

Vulnerability Pada Browser Internet Explorer (IE)

Untuk makluman terdapat vulnerability pada browser Internet Explorer (IE)  seperti di bawah :-

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 8

Kesan sekiranya tindakan tidak dilakukan ialah "An attacker who successfully exploits this vulnerability will be able to execute codes remotely and gain the same privilege as the user. Unsuccessful attacks may cause denial-of-service (DoS) outcomes".

Kaedah Mengemaskini Pangkalan Data Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 ke Atas Komputer yang Tiada Sambungan Internet

Bagi mengurangkan penggunaan bandwidth dalam pengemaskinian KIS terus ke Internet (Kaspersky Server) untuk setiap PC, konsep klien-server boleh digunakan dengan cara memasang perisian KIS dalam sebuah komputer dan dijadikan sebagai hos (khusus untuk pengemaskinian sahaja) yang mempunyai sambungan ke Internet.

Sedikit konfigurasi sahaja yang diperlukan pada PC hos tersebut iaitu:

1. Buka KIS 2010 > Setting > My Update Center > Pilih Copy Updates to Folder.
2. Setkan folder sharing ke atas folder yang telah ditetapkan pada PC hos untuk KIS updates.
3. Kemudian setkan setiap PC (klien) untuk mengemaskini pangkalan data menerusi folder PC hos seperti dalam animasi di atas.

Masalah Capaian ke Internet, Cuba "netsh winsock"

Service pack 2 for Windows XP includes some additions to the Netsh suite. These are discussed here and include a new tool for repairing the Windows network socket or "winsock". Uninstalling spyware or poorly written applications can corrupt the winsock settings and result in loss of network connectivity.

There are two commands for managing the settings. To display a list of various installed services (LSP, BSP, NSP) use

netsh winsock show catalog 

This list may not be too meaningful for the average PC user but it can be helpful for more experienced users. To reset the winsock to the default configuration use  

netsh winsock reset catalog 

Note that any installed software that uses Internet connections may be partially disabled by this action and have to be reinstalled. This would include most software that updates itself and anti-virus programs that use proxy servers. Therefore, this command should only be used for cases where the degree of corruption makes it necessary. See this reference for some alternative methods.

Tips Untuk Meningkatkan Kelajuan Capaian Internet

1. Dapatkan versi terkini atau updates pelayar web (browser).
2. Laksanakan imbasan Anti-Malware sepenuhnya dalam PC.
3. Bersihkan atau buang fail-fail yang tidak berkenaan dalam PC seperti temp file dan sebagainya dengan menggunakan program/perisian utiliti.
4. Kekalkan tahap 'kesihatan' PC dengan melaksanakan penyenggaraan sendiri seperti  fragmented drive dan  registry errors scanning.
5. Tingkat upaya kapasiti memori (RAM).
6. Periksa kualiti router termasuk mengemaskini firmware.
7. Tidak membuka banyak pelayar web dalam masa yang sama.
8. Hadkan penggunaan/pemasangan add-on pada pelayar web.
9. Tidak mengaktifkan banyak program secara serentak semasa melayari web.

Publish Web Aplikasi ke Internet

Untuk publish sesebuah aplikasi web keluar (web boleh diakses dari luar melalui Internet), beberapa konfigurasi perlu dilaksanakan pada Firewall dan External DNS Server iaitu:

   Setkan Internal IP dan Public IP pada Firewall di bahagian Virtual IP.

   Seterusnya setkan polisi akses misalnya dari WAN ke Internal pada Firewall tersebut di bahagian Policy.

   Kemudian, setkan hostname dan forwarding IP (Public IP) dengan mengklik pada New Host (A) dalam External DNS Server.
   
   
   
4. 
   
   Laksanakan ujian capaian melalui mana-mana media capaian Internet di agensi anda.
